Studio How it works

How Leanboat Studio works

Leanboat Studio works as a weekly loop with six stations: you connect your social accounts, it learns your brand from your site and your posts, it drafts a week of content, you approve it, it publishes to your accounts, and the results feed the next week’s plan. Your part is the approval.

1

Connect

You authorise your accounts through each platform’s own login screen. Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook and X are the four you can connect, and you pick which. No password is typed into anything of ours, and you can revoke it from your own settings whenever you like.

If you would rather not connect anything yet, you can start from your website address instead and connect later, before the first post goes out.

Your part a few clicks, once
2

Learn

Six short questions: your brand, your goal, who you’re for, your identity, your style, your plan. While you answer them, your website is read, and so is whatever is already on the account you connected.

All of it becomes your brand file: how you sound, how you look, what you sell, and what your audience has responded to. It starts as a draft you can correct, and it stays editable for as long as you’re on the engine. Nothing is generated from anything else.

Your part about ten minutes, once
3

Draft

Before anything is written, the month gets a plan: what the posts are about, in what order, and which of them are designed carousels. You see the plan and approve it, so the first thing you judge is direction rather than a finished post you’d have to unpick.

Then the week is produced against it. Captions, single images and designed carousels, each shaped for the feed it will run on, all built from your brand file.

Your part approve the plan
4

Approve

The week arrives as a link in your inbox. It opens without a login, shows you every post, and gives you one button. If you’d rather work inside the dashboard, the same week is waiting under Approvals with its history.

You can also request changes. Say what’s wrong in your own words, and the week goes back to be redrafted against your note, then comes to you again. There’s a limit on how many times that can go round before a person on our side steps in and deals with it directly, which is the point at which a loop should stop being a loop.

Your part minutes, once a week
5

Publish

Approved posts go out to your own accounts. You can hand us a posting schedule and let each week fill it, or set dates yourself and have them go at those times.

Your part nothing
6

Learn again

Every published post reports its numbers back daily, and what they say is written into your brand file: which hooks got saved, which formats got shared, which subjects brought followers. Next month’s plan is built from that file, which now knows more than it did.

This is the station most tools don’t have. Publishing is where they finish. It’s the reason month three isn’t a repeat of month one.

Your part nothing

Your side of it, in full.

Everything above that needs you, and nothing that doesn’t. If this list looks short, that’s the product.

Once

Connect your accounts and answer six questions about your brand. Call it ten minutes.

Monthly

Approve the plan, or say what you’d rather it covered.

Weekly

Open the link, read the week, approve it or ask for changes.

Never

Write a caption, brief a designer, build a calendar, log into a scheduler, or read a report.

Where the human judgement sits

Three roles, and two of them are light.

The engine does the production

Research, writing, design, scheduling and measurement, every week, at a volume that would otherwise be somebody’s whole job.

We own the direction

Strategy and creative direction are ours: what your account should be known for, which formats to push, when to change the approach. That isn’t automated and isn’t meant to be.

You own the only decision that ships anything

Approval. Nothing reaches your audience that you haven’t said yes to.

How it works, in short.

As a weekly loop with six stations: connect your accounts, learn your brand, draft the week, you approve, publish, and feed the results back into the next plan. You connect once, answer six questions once, then approve a plan each month and a week of posts each week.

Ten minutes, then a yes a week.

Connect your accounts and your first week of drafts is waiting for your approval.
